The WaifuClan, also known as sodiumsecure, originally kicked off as a vintage anime VHS newsgroup site that my old high school hosted. They eventually realized it wasn’t really a science site like I said it was, they weren't exactly thrilled about running an anime newsgroup for two years. In the end, they deleted the entire website and ended up losing a ton of information and links from those years. After learning the website deletion, we quickly jumped over to (Don't Remember?) and ended up with a fairly large anime VHS trading community for fan translations. Unfortunately, the owner of the site passed away, and their family decided to shut it down. Luckily for us I started a backup website on mmoguildsites back in 2006 and kept it going until they switched the name to Shivtr in 2011. Sadly, the site faded away as folks lost interest in VHS translations and switched to DVDs and streaming online. Eventually, sodiumsecure transformed into the waifuclan, focusing on anime-style games and MMOs.
